These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website located at https://stage.storage-rentals.com and any related services. The website is developed and maintained by G.SOFRONIOU WEBZONE-CY LTD. Storage services displayed or booked via this website are provided by C.J Demetriou LTD (the “Company”).
1. General
By using the website and/or the Company’s storage services you agree to these Terms and to comply with all applicable laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you do not agree, do not use the website or the storage services.
2. Developer vs Storage Provider
G.SOFRONIOU WEBZONE-CY LTD acts only as the website developer and hosting/technical provider. G.SOFRONIOU WEBZONE-CY LTD is not the storage provider and is not responsible for the storage, condition or security of goods stored with C.J Demetriou LTD. Any contracts, claims or operations relating to the storage of goods are between you and C.J Demetriou LTD.
3. Scope of Storage Services
The Company provides storage services only (short- or long-term storage of personal goods, furniture, equipment, documents, household items, etc.). Any additional services (collection, delivery, packing, insurance) must be agreed separately in writing.
4. Data Use & Cookies
Collection and processing of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy available on this website. The Company and G.SOFRONIOU WEBZONE-CY LTD use cookies and analytics tools to operate and improve the website. By using the site you consent to the cookies as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Accounts, Access & Security
- Access to a storage unit is granted only after full payment for the selected storage period.
- You are responsible for keeping account credentials and access codes/keys secure.
- The Company may suspend access in case of overdue payments, suspected illegal items, or other breaches of these Terms.
6. Payment, Renewals & Refunds
- All payments for a storage period must be made in full prior to access being provided.
- Renewals must be paid on time. Late payments may incur additional fees and/or suspension of access.
- No refunds for early termination: If you terminate the storage agreement early, any amounts already paid are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Company.
7. Prohibited & Restricted Items
You must not store the following categories of items without the Company’s prior written consent (this is not an exhaustive list):
- firearms, ammunition, explosives or components thereof;
- drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances, chemical precursors;
- radioactive, toxic, flammable or otherwise hazardous materials;
- living creatures (animals, birds, plants) and perishable foods without separate agreement;
- large amounts of cash, negotiable instruments or high-value items without disclosure and agreement;
- any items the storage of which is prohibited by the law or regulations of the Republic of Cyprus.
If the Company reasonably suspects that prohibited items are stored in your unit, the Company may immediately:
- access the unit (including breaking locks or restricting access);
- record the condition and prepare a report; and/or
- hand over items to law enforcement or other competent authorities at your cost and risk.
8. High-Value Items
Items of high value (jewellery, works of art, antiques, collectibles) require prior written notification and consent. The Company may impose additional fees, require a separate agreement, or refuse to accept such items. Without written consent, storage of high-value items is at the Client’s risk.
9. Insurance
The Company is not required to insure stored goods. Clients are strongly advised to obtain their own insurance to cover theft, damage, or loss of valuable items.
10. Liability
The Company shall not be liable for loss, damage, theft or destruction of stored goods except for losses directly caused by the Company’s wilful misconduct or gross negligence to the extent permitted by law. The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or other economic losses.
11. Abandoned Goods & Disposal
If a storage agreement ends and the Client fails to collect items within the time specified in the agreement or notices, or if a Client is in default, the Company may:
- remove, store, sell or dispose of the goods to recover unpaid fees and costs;
- dispose of items at the Company’s discretion if they are unlawfully stored or pose a hazard;
- seek reimbursement from the Client for any costs incurred; and
- not be obliged to provide compensation to the Client for items disposed of in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
12. Cleaning, Damage & Additional Fees
Clients must return units in a clean condition. The Company may charge additional fees for:
- cleaning and removal of refuse;
- repairing damage caused by the Client’s goods;
- fumigation or special cleaning required because of odours, pests or contamination.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus.
14. Changes to Terms
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms. Updated Terms will be published on this site. Continued use of the service after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
